Certification Requests

When a user is requesting a certification, they need an approval from the verificator officer and the approval officer.

As the verificator officer, it's our task to either accept or decline the request. You can do this in the Certification Requests page section.

Accept User Request

To accept/approve a user's certification request, click the Accept Request button.

A confirmation pop-up will appear, prompting you to write a message to the requesting user. The requesting user will see your message on their side.

After you're satisfied, click the Accept button to accept the user’s certification request.

Once you click the show detail button, you'll see the request timeline updated with the Verificator Officer status as Accepted, along with your notes as proof that you've approved the user's certification request.

Now, you just need to wait for the Approval Officer to either accept or decline the user's request.

Decline User Request

To decline a user's request, simply click the Decline Request button.

A confirmation pop-up will appear, prompting you to write a message to the requesting user. The requesting user will see your message on their side.

After you're satisfied, click the Decline button to decline the user's certification request.

Once you click the show detail button, you'll see the request timeline updated with the Verificator Officer status as Prev Declined, along with your notes as proof that you've declined the user's certification request.

As the approval status in the HRIS is based on the hierarchy structure, the next approver in the request timeline is the approval officer. The approval officer will no longer be able to accept or decline the user's request, as it has already been prev declined by the previous hierarchy, in this case, the verificator officer.
